BTS's Jungkook continues to break records on Spotify, solidifying his global presence.
His solo single "3D," released in September last year, recently surpassed 700 million streams (pre-filtered) on the world’s largest music streaming platform, Spotify.
With this achievement, Jungkook has now reached a total of four songs with over 700 million streams on Spotify, including "3D," his solo single "Seven," the title track "Standing Next to You" from his solo album GOLDEN, and the collaboration track "Left and Right."
Jungkook has set a new record as the Asian solo artist with the most songs (4) that have surpassed 700 million streams on Spotify, reinforcing his status as a "record-breaking machine."
Since its release, "3D" reached the top spot on Spotify’s "Daily Top Songs Global" chart and remained on the chart for over 200 days.
"3D" also debuted at No. 5 on the main Billboard Hot 100 chart in the U.S., marking its first entry, and stayed on the chart for 9 weeks. The song topped both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global (Excl. US) charts, maintaining its position for 27 weeks and 33 weeks, respectively, showcasing its massive global success.
Additionally, on the global music platform iTunes, "3D" reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 111 countries/regions and maintained No. 1 for four consecutive days on both the Worldwide and European iTunes Song charts.
Meanwhile, the official music video for "3D" surpassed 200 million views on YouTube, continuing its popularity.
