• LE SSERAFIM to Take Over Japan with 'FNS Music Festival' Following 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' Appearance

    LE SSERAFIM is set to dominate Japan this year-end.

    According to a recent announcement from Japan's Fuji TV on November 20, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) will be joining the lineup for the 2024 FNS Music Festival, airing on December 11. The FNS Music Festival is one of Japan’s biggest year-end TV events, alongside the renowned Kohaku Uta Gassen.

    Before this, LE SSERAFIM made headlines by confirming their participation in the 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen, which is a huge honor in Japan. This marks their third consecutive appearance on the prestigious show, cementing their growing influence in the country.

    Year-end shows like these bring together the top artists of the year, and being invited is a strong indicator of an artist’s popularity in Japan. LE SSERAFIM has certainly proven their success, with their mini albums EASY and CRAZY both becoming major hits in Japan. Both albums topped the Oricon Daily Album Ranking, and together, they surpassed 100,000 copies sold in the country, earning the Gold certification from the Japan Record Association.

    In addition, LE SSERAFIM made a massive impact with their fan meeting tour LE SSERAFIM FAN MEETING 'FEARNADA' 2024 S/S - JAPAN from June to July, drawing 80,000 fans to their events in Japan.

    On November 19, Billboard's latest chart (for November 23) revealed that LE SSERAFIM’s title track "CRAZY" from their Mini Album 4 ranked 137th on the "Global" chart (excluding the U.S.), marking their 11th consecutive week on the chart. Their album also ranked 49th on the "Top Current Album Sales" and 11th on the "World Albums" chart.

    Furthermore, LE SSERAFIM is set to attend the 9th Asia Artist Awards in Bangkok, Thailand on December 27, 2024, where they are sure to continue making waves.

    The Asia Artist Awards is the first-ever integrated awards ceremony in Korea, combining both actors and singers, and LE SSERAFIM's continued success is certainly making them a staple at major events in Asia.

    Big news has rocked the drama world! Director Lee Byung Hun has officially stepped down from the director’s chair for the upcoming Netflix series Everything Will Come True, starring Kim Woo Bin and Suzy.

    Reports from the broadcasting industry on January 27 revealed that Lee Byung Hun left the project last year during filming due to personal reasons.

    The production team confirmed the news, stating, “It is true that Director Lee Byung Hun left the project due to personal reasons.” After his exit, PD Ahn Gil Ho, who directed the hit Netflix series The Glory, stepped in to lead the project.

    Despite Lee Byung Hun’s departure, Everything Will Come True wrapped up all its filming by the end of October 2024.

    Fans are still eagerly awaiting this romantic comedy that tells the story of Genie (played by Kim Woo Bin), who holds the power to control life and death, and Ga Young (played by Suzy), who lacks emotions.

    The two characters make three wishes that could change their fate in ways they never imagined—bringing either fortune or punishment.

    The buzz around the project has been huge, thanks to its writer Kim Eun Sook, the mastermind behind iconic dramas like Secret Garden, The Heirs, Goblin, Descendants of the Sun, and Mr. Sunshine.

    Fans were excited about the combination of Kim Eun Sook’s storytelling and Lee Byung Hun’s directing talent. Everything Will Come True was one of the most anticipated Netflix releases for 2025.
