• BTS’s Jin’s ‘Happy’ Dominates Japan, Takes #1 Spot on Oricon Chart

    BTS's Jin is taking over the Japanese music scene with his solo album Happy.

    According to the latest Oricon charts released on November 20, Jin's Happy claimed the top spot on the "Weekly Digital Album Ranking" (for the period of November 11-17). Jin achieved this impressive feat in just three days of tracking.

    Happy also took the number one position on the Oricon "Daily Album Ranking" on November 16, right after its release on November 15. On that day alone, the album sold nearly 220,000 copies. Notably, Happy became the K-pop solo album with the highest first-day sales in Oricon's history for 2024.

    The title track "Running Wild" topped the "Daily Digital Single Ranking" on November 15. Other tracks from the album also made waves, with songs like "Until It Reaches You" at #9, "I'll Be There" at #11, "Heart on the Window (with Wendy)" at #14, "Longing" at #15, and "Another Level" at #17—all landing in the top 20 of the "Daily Digital Single Ranking."

    Happy carries the message of embarking on a journey to find happiness. In his new album, Jin openly shares his thoughts on what happiness means to him, hoping that those who listen to his music will also find happiness. Additionally, on November 19, Jin released a remix version of "Running Wild" called Running Wild (Remixes).

    Jin will also be performing "Running Wild" live on the popular American show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on November 21 at 1:35 PM (KST).

    BTS member Jin is taking the world by storm with his hit song Running Wild.

    Released on November 15, Running Wild is the title track from Jin's first solo album, Happy. The song blends a fresh new wave sound with British rock influences and pop rock elements, catching the attention of fans worldwide.

    On November 21, Running Wild reached the top spot on Spotify Japan's Daily Top Songs chart, showing its massive popularity.

    It also ranked No. 2 on the Spotify Top Songs chart in Korea and No. 6 globally, proving its broad appeal.

    Jin’s solo album Happy has also been a huge success. It sold over 219,000 copies on its first day, making it the third-highest album sales for a K-pop solo artist in Oricon Weekly Album Chart history.

    In just three days, Happy reached No. 1 on the Hanteo Country-by-Country Chart in Japan for the third week of November, solidifying Jin's status as a top global artist.
