BTS's Jin is continuing to ride a wave of global popularity with his latest track, "Running Wild". The song is from his first solo album, 'Happy', which was released on November 15.
"Running Wild," the title track, blends British rock with a new wave sound and pop-rock elements. Jin’s solo album is receiving an overwhelming response worldwide.
Upon its release, "Running Wild" soared to #1 on both the global and European iTunes Song Charts. As of November 17, it has maintained its position at the top for three consecutive days.
The song also hit #1 in over 74 countries, including the United States.
In addition to this, Jin's track "I'll Be There" also reached the #1 spot on Amazon's Best Seller list. It topped the Amazon U.S. Best Seller, New Releases, and International Best Seller categories, proving the song's massive popularity.
"Running Wild" made an impressive debut on Spotify's Daily Top Global Songs Chart, entering at #8. It also reached #1 on Japan's Oricon Daily Digital Singles Chart on November 15 and claimed the #1 spot on the Oricon Daily Albums Chart on November 16, selling 219,241 copies in one day, showing its huge success in Japan.
In China, "Running Wild" topped the QQ Music Daily Best-Selling EP chart and also reached #1 on Apple Music China Albums chart, solidifying its widespread popularity and influence.
The music video for "Running Wild" has been equally successful. It has remained #1 in the YouTube Global Music Video Trending category for three days in a row, also claiming the top spot in the overall music video category worldwide.
The track continues to dominate the charts, proving Jin’s global appeal and the massive interest in his solo work.
