BTS's Jimin has added another incredible achievement to his name, continuing to shine as a front-runner of K-pop on the U.S. Spotify charts.
On November 15, Jimin’s song "Who" made history by ranking 10th on the Spotify U.S. Daily Top Songs chart, marking the first and only time a Korean song has stayed in the Top 10 of this chart for 100 days.
The song climbed even higher on November 16, reaching 7th place, and held that position on November 17, keeping its spot in the Top 10 for 102 out of 122 days on the chart.
"Who" also made history as the first Korean solo song to reach #1 on the Spotify U.S. Daily Top Songs chart on August 19, and it remains the only Korean solo song to achieve this feat. Additionally, the track spent 15 weeks in the Top 10 of the Spotify U.S. Weekly Top Songs chart, another first and only record for a Korean song.
Currently, "Who" has surpassed 185 million streams on Spotify U.S., breaking records for the most streamed song by a Korean artist on the platform. The counting of streams excludes infinite loops, ensuring that these numbers are an accurate reflection of its global popularity.
Jimin’s solo debut album, "FACE", also continues to perform well, with the title track "Like Crazy" reaching 114 million streams on the U.S. Spotify chart. With this, Jimin has become the first and only Korean artist to have two songs with over 100 million streams on the U.S. Spotify charts.
What makes these achievements even more impressive is that Jimin has accomplished all of this without collaborations from major international artists, solidifying his unique position as a Korean artist dominating in the U.S. music scene. He’s also continuing to enjoy long-term success on the Billboard Hot 100, maintaining a 16-week streak on the main singles chart.
Jimin’s success is proof of his unstoppable "Jimerica Power", as he continues to break new records and make K-pop history.
