On November 19, Lee Hyori shared a photo on her social media of a shoe-shaped cake sent by Jennie, captioning it with a heartfelt “thank you.”
Jennie has long admired Lee Hyori and even confessed her fangirl devotion earlier this year. Back in January, Jennie appeared on KBS 2TV’s The Seasons – Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet, where she surprised Lee Hyori with a giant bouquet and a heartfelt letter.
Jennie said, “Meeting and getting to know my forever idol, unnie, has made me happier than ever,” leaving Lee Hyori deeply moved.
