Ailee began her post by reflecting on her journey, saying, “When I was 22, I came to Korea alone, far from my family, and stood in front of you with the music I loved. Thanks to your unwavering support, I was able to adjust to life in Korea without feeling lonely.” She continued, "Through the love and energy you’ve given me, I’ve grown into the person I am today, and now I’ve met someone I can share all this love with, which is why I’ve decided to get married."
She shared her thoughts about her fiancé, saying, “I've always cared for others, but now I've found someone who has offered me support and care. His understanding and thoughtfulness made me want to spend the rest of my life with him.” After dating for a year, Ailee and Choi Si Hoon have decided to marry in April 2024.
Ailee also expressed her deep appreciation for her fans, stating, "I am still someone who has a lot to learn, but I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your love and support. I promise to work harder and show a more mature side of myself in the future."
Ailee's agency, A2Z Entertainment, confirmed the news on November 19, announcing that the couple will marry on April 20, 2024. They shared that Ailee and Choi Si Hoon met through a mutual acquaintance and have been in a relationship for about a year. The couple received blessings from both families and expressed gratitude to their fans for their well wishes and support.

Ailee’s soon-to-be husband, Choi Si Hoon, is a former actor known for his appearance on the Netflix show "Single's Inferno". He has since shifted his focus to the F&B and MCN industries, leaving his acting career behind.
