Former T-ARA member Hwayoung has spoken out again about the bullying controversy involving the group.
On November 18, Hwayoung shared a lengthy post on her social media, saying, “For the past 12 years, my family and I have endured false stories, countless speculations, excessive malicious comments, baseless criticism, threats, and harassment. I can no longer stay silent, and I ask for your understanding as I share my statement.”
She revealed her hopes for reconciliation, saying, “After releasing my statement, I waited for their sincere apology more than anything. However, I have decided to no longer expect anything from Kim Kwang Soo (T-ARA’s former agency CEO) or the T-ARA members, as they have made no effort to respond.”
She added, “I find solace in finally speaking the truth and clearing my name from the misunderstandings and accusations.”
Hwayoung detailed her experiences and stressed the gravity of the issue, stating, “Bullying is no different from murder in our society.”
She also issued a firm warning, saying, “For the sake of my family and myself, I will take strong legal action against the spread of false information and malicious comments.”
