• G-Dragon Shares Challenges of Writing 'POWER' After 88 Months Away: "It Felt Like I Gained a Second Voice"

G-Dragon appeared as a guest on MBC FM4U's Kim Eana's Starry Night on November 18, where he talked about his new single, "POWER", marking his return after 88 months.

During the broadcast, Kim Eana brought up his much-anticipated release and praised his performance. G-Dragon humbly responded, "I used to be quick to keep up with things, but now I feel like I can't keep up as much. I realized I really need to keep using my body more."

Kim Eana also complimented his lyrics, saying, "I was really impressed by the words. How long did it take you to write them?"

G-Dragon revealed, "It took quite a while. I couldn’t write it all at once. The melody came to me pretty quickly and matched the vibe of the song well. But since the flow was unique, I had to put a lot of thought into the meaning and message of the lyrics. It ended up taking longer than I expected."

Kim Eana then noted that his voice seemed lower than before. G-Dragon agreed, sharing, "That's true. I didn’t notice at first, but my usual tone has definitely dropped. However, it changes when I record—it feels like I gained a second voice. I think I can go even deeper now, though I’m not sure if I can still reach the higher ranges like I used to."

Fans are excited to hear more of G-Dragon's evolving sound as he makes his highly-awaited comeback.
