• SHINee’s Minho Gets Called Out by Key for Speaking Informally to 7-Year-Older Kim Dae Ho

SHINee member Minho had a surprising moment on DaeJang's Side Dish after raising his voice at Kim Dae Ho.

On November 17th, MBC’s variety show DaeJang's Side Dish aired with SHINee’s Minho and Key as the meal buddies.

They joined a contest involving persimmon desserts, where the pride of the former Market Prince members—Lee Jang Woo (1st generation), Kim Dae Ho (2nd generation), and Key (3rd generation)—was at stake.

Lee Jang Woo teamed up with Minho, while Kim Dae Ho paired up with Key to work in the persimmon field. Lee Jang Woo’s team had to take on the tough tasks like fertilizing the soil, while Minho started to get suspicious about Kim Dae Ho and Key’s team, asking, "It looks like they’re just sitting there. What are they doing?"

Kim Dae Ho teased Minho, saying, "Minho seems to get upset a lot," and Key added, "He’s all about anger," highlighting Minho’s fiery temperament.

Eventually, Minho snapped, asking, "But why are you just sitting there?" but quickly realized his mistake and corrected himself, "Oh, Dae Ho hyung is over there."

Key, noticing the awkward moment, immediately called him out, saying, "How many years older than you is Dae Ho? And you’re talking like that?"

Minho froze, realizing he had spoken too informally. Kim Dae Ho, born in 1984, is 7 years older than Minho, who was born in 1991.

Lee Jang Woo lightened the mood, saying, "We’re all friends now~," and the group shared a good laugh.

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
