BTS member Jin is making waves worldwide with his latest solo release!
On October 16, Spotify revealed that Jin's new title track, Running Wild, from his solo album Happy, debuted at No. 8 on the "Daily Top Songs Global" chart.
With over 4.93 million streams on its first day, this marks Jin's highest solo ranking on the global chart. His previous personal best was with I'll Be There, which debuted at No. 9 last month.
The achievements don’t stop there. Running Wild also made it into the "Top 10" of Spotify's "Daily Top Songs" charts in 10 countries, including South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand.
Other tracks from the album performed well globally too, such as I'll Be There (No. 20), Heart on the Window featuring Wendy (No. 99), Another Level (No. 106), Until I Reach You (No. 115), and Longing (No. 124).
In Japan, the track debuted at No. 1 on Oricon’s "Daily Digital Single Ranking" for October 15. Jin's other tracks also claimed spots in the Top 20, showcasing his strong presence in the Japanese market.
On its release day, the album Happy sold over 840,000 copies on Hanteo Chart, smashing Jin's previous record set by his single The Astronaut and setting a new personal best. Running Wild also topped iTunes "Top Songs" charts in 70 regions, including Australia, Finland, and Brazil, proving Jin’s global popularity.
Through Happy, Jin invites listeners on a heartfelt journey to explore the true meaning of happiness. The album reflects his personal take on finding joy, and his fans are responding with love and admiration for his artistry.
