BTS member Jungkook continues to prove his global impact with his debut solo album, GOLDEN.
Released in November last year, GOLDEN has made history by becoming the first and longest-charting album by an Asian solo artist on Spotify's Weekly Top Albums Global chart.
As of the latest chart update (November 8–14), the album holds the 30th spot, marking an impressive 54 consecutive weeks on the chart.
Throughout these 54 weeks, GOLDEN has consistently stayed within the Top 50, showcasing Jungkook's massive popularity and enduring success.
Jungkook's achievements don’t stop there. On Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart (November 1–7), his hit solo single Seven landed at #75, while Standing Next to You, the title track from GOLDEN, secured the #196 spot.
These tracks have also set records, with Seven logging 70 weeks and Standing Next to You staying strong for 53 weeks on the chart.
Jungkook recently became the first Asian artist to join Spotify's prestigious "2 Billion Club" with Seven, hitting this milestone faster than any other Asian act.
He also reached 1 billion streams with Standing Next to You, making him the first Asian solo artist to have three tracks surpass 1 billion streams each.
GOLDEN has further cemented its place in music history by amassing 4.6 billion filtered streams on Spotify, the fastest studio album by an Asian artist to achieve this feat. The album also boasts 10 tracks with over 100 million streams each—a first for any Asian solo artist.
Jungkook's accomplishments with GOLDEN continue to set a new standard for global music success!
