Sooyoung, a member of Girls' Generation and actress, is heartbroken after the passing of fellow actor Song Jae Rim, just a week after mourning the loss of a close family member.

On November 14, Sooyoung shared a photo of the late Song Jae Rim on her social media, paying tribute to him with a heartfelt message. She wrote, "Please be happy and bright as you always were, oppa♥," remembering him fondly.

The photo Sooyoung posted shows Song Jae Rimsmiling brightly, wearing a crown and holding a microphone as he sang. The two had first worked together in 2023 when they performed in the play Wife, marking their shared debut in theater acting.

This tragic loss comes at a difficult time for Sooyoung, who had just lost a family member on November 6 and is now facing another personal sorrow just a week later.

Song Jae Rim was found deceased at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of November 12. His funeral service is set for noon on November 14 at Yeouido St. Mary’s Hospital in Seoul.
