• Oh My Girl's Hyojung to Become New DJ for KBS's 'Volume Up' Radio Show

    Oh My Girl's leader, Hyojung, has been confirmed as the new DJ for KBS Radio Cool FM's popular show Volume Up.

    On November 13, WM Entertainment shared the exciting news that Hyojung will be taking over as the host of Oh My Girl Hyojung's Volume Up, which is set to air its first episode on November 25.

    Hyojung expressed her excitement, saying, "I can't believe I’m the DJ for a program with my name on it. It’s such a surreal and amazing feeling. I’ve always loved how radio tells stories. I want to be the 8 PM friend who helps listeners relax after a busy day and gives them peace for tomorrow."

    Volume Up is a long-running show on KBS Radio that started in 1995. It has featured popular DJs like Lee Bon, MayBee, Choi Kang Hee, Yoo In Na, and Kang Han Na. Hyojung will follow in the footsteps of Chung Ha, bringing her musical expertise and fun personality to connect with listeners.

    PD Oh Gwi Na shared, "Hyojung’s bright energy and charm, which appeals to many generations, will bring a new vibrancy to Cool FM. We have high expectations for her as the new host."

    Hyojung debuted in 2015 as the leader and lead vocalist of Oh My Girl with their first mini-album OH MY GIRL. Since then, she has gained popularity with hits like "Secret Garden," "The Fifth Season," "Nonstop," and "Dun Dun Dance," becoming one of K-pop's top stars.
