BABYMONSTER member Rami shared an interesting story about her mother, who was once close to debuting in a girl group!
On the November 10 episode of SBS’s Running Man, Rami and fellow BABYMONSTER member Laura joined actor Kim Dong Jun as guests for the “Overambitious Class President Election” race.
During the show, Yoo Jae Suk asked Rami and Laura, known as the “Running Man Kids,” if they’d always dreamed of becoming celebrities.
Rami answered, “I started out as a kid model at age two. I modeled until I was 12, then became a trainee.”
She added, “I think I got it from my parents. My mom almost debuted in a girl group and even appeared on National Singing Contest back then!”
Laura, who previously mentioned she was a child actress in the drama A Korean Odyssey, also shared, “My mom was a pianist, so I think I inherited her musical talent.”
Kim Jong Kook then joked, “Turns out my mom loved to party too. She just told me recently,” making everyone laugh with his lighthearted comment about their moms’ fun sides.
