• BTS’s Jungkook Becomes First K-pop Solo Artist with 20 Tracks Over 100 Million Streams on Spotify

BTS's Jungkook has hit a major milestone on Spotify, becoming the first K-pop solo artist with 20 tracks that have surpassed 100 million streams.

Several songs from Jungkook’s debut solo album GOLDEN, released in November last year, have recently crossed the 100 million mark, including tracks like "Too Sad to Dance" and "Shot Glass of Tears." These two songs now make the 9th and 10th tracks from GOLDEN to reach the impressive milestone. GOLDEN is also the first album by an Asian solo artist to have 10 tracks exceed 100 million streams on Spotify.

Jungkook’s record-breaking achievement makes him the first and most K-pop solo artist to have 20 tracks hit 100 million streams on the platform.

Among the tracks that have reached this milestone are Jungkook’s solo singles like "Seven" and "3D," along with popular GOLDEN tracks such as "Standing Next to You," "Yes or No," "Please Don’t Change," and "Hate You." Other songs include "Somebody," "Too Sad to Dance," "Shot Glass of Tears," collaborations like "Left and Right" and "Too Much," the webtoon OST "Stay Alive," and "Dreamers," the official 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar soundtrack.

Jungkook’s self-composed tracks like "Still with You," "My You," and "Never Let Go," as well as BTS’s album solo songs like "Euphoria," "My Time," and "Begin," also made the list.

Jungkook's success continues to make waves globally, as he remains one of the top K-pop solo artists.
