• Lee Jong Suk to Star in New Legal Drama 'Seocho-dong'

    Actor Lee Jong Suk is set to shine in his next project, the new tvN drama Seocho-dong! His agency, Ace Factory, has confirmed his role in this exciting series.

    Seocho-dong is a lively youth drama that focuses on office workers, particularly associate lawyers who travel to the legal town of Seocho-dong every day. The story is written by a real attorney and will show the true experiences of lawyers as they navigate everyday cases and grow in their careers.

    This drama marks a reunion for Lee Jong Suk and director Park Sang-woo, who previously worked together on Lee’s hit series W in 2016, raising fans' excitement even more. The script is penned by Lee Seung-hyun, who will share diverse episodes based on the real-life experiences of lawyers.

    In Seocho-dong,Lee Jong Suk will play Ahn Joo-hyung, a nine-year attorney known for his logical but blunt approach to cases. Joo-hyung chose to become a lawyer because he found the work interesting, not because he wanted to save the world.

    He has been with the same company for nine years and earns a high salary, but he feels stagnant and hasn’t pursued his own practice. However, his comfortable life is about to change.

    Lee Jong Suk previously impressed viewers with his role as a lawyer in Big Mouth (2022), winning the Grand Prize at the MBC Acting Awards. Now, he is ready to showcase the everyday challenges of an office worker lawyer in Seocho-dong, drawing interest in his new character.

    Seocho-dong is set to air on tvN in the first half of next year.

    BLACKPINK’s Jisoo shared a surprising story from her trainee days!

    On January 29, the latest episode of Dex’s Fridge Interview was released on YouTube. During the chat, Dex asked Jisoo if she ever rebelled or broke the rules as a trainee. She confidently replied, “Not at all. The only rebellion I had as a trainee was eating.”

    Dex then jokingly imitated her younger self, saying, “I’m perfect, so why are they telling me not to eat? I’m going to eat tteokbokki!”

    Jisoo laughed and admitted, “Actually, I was really chubby back then. They kept telling me to lose weight, but I always said, ‘No, I need to eat. I like myself chubby.’”

    She even recalled a moment with YG Entertainment’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk:
    “The boss told me to lose weight, and I responded like that. He just walked away, thinking, ‘She’s a weird one.’ I literally said, ‘No! I like myself chubby!’”

    Jisoo then revealed that after she debuted, she naturally lost weight. She added, “Later, after I debuted and naturally lost weight, he was like, ‘You didn’t lose weight when I told you to, but now that you debuted, you did.’”
