• SHINee's Minho Grateful for Collabs with RIIZE's Sohee and aespa's Ningning on His First Solo Album

SHINee member Minho recently shared his excitement about working with RIIZE member Sohee and aespa member Ningning on his debut solo album CALL BACK.

On November 4, Minho held a press event at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul to celebrate the release of CALL BACK, his first full-length album.

Speaking about the track "FIREWORKS," he said, "It’s a lively, upbeat song. I added this track to bring something fresh and different from my usual style.”

For "FIREWORKS," Minho collaborated with RIIZE’s Sohee. He explained, "I felt the song needed an extra spark, and Sohee’s voice was just perfect for it. I’m a fan of RIIZE, and as soon as I heard the demo, I knew Sohee’s refreshing tone would fit beautifully. I asked her politely, and I’m so grateful she agreed. Our voices blend nicely, especially in the chorus, and she added something special to the bridge."

Minho also teamed up with aespa’s Ningning on another track, "Because of You." Smiling, he admitted, "I ended up reaching out to Ningning too. It’s easier for juniors to ask seniors for favors, but asking juniors feels different. I made sure to ask her very respectfully, and thankfully, she happily agreed!"

Minho expressed his gratitude, saying, "Our voices balance really well on the track, and I hope we get the chance to perform together on stage someday. I’m excited for everyone to hear these songs."

Minho’s album CALL BACK will be available on all major streaming platforms starting today at 6 PM KST.
