• Stray Kids Break Records as First K-pop Group to Sell Over 1 Million Albums in the U.S.

Stray Kids has officially made history! The group became the first K-pop artist to surpass 1 million album sales in the U.S. in 2024, setting a new milestone for K-pop worldwide.

With their latest comeback album ATE, Stray Kids achieved over 500,000 sales in both singles and albums in the U.S., earning them their seventh Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

By September’s end, ATE was crowned the best-selling K-pop album in the U.S. this year and ranked fourth globally, right behind big names like Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department, Travis Scott's Days Before Rodeo, and Billie Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft.

This fan-favorite album pushed Stray Kids’ total album sales in the U.S. past 1 million, making them the "first K-pop artist to hit this milestone in 2024."

Stray Kids’ album success is no surprise to fans. Since their 2022 mini-album ODDINARY, they’ve achieved five consecutive No. 1 debuts on the Billboard 200 with albums like MAXIDENT, ★★★★★ (5-STAR), 樂-STAR, and now ATE.

Riding this wave of popularity, Stray Kids launched their biggest world tour yet, Stray Kids World Tour , with a kickoff at Seoul’s KSPO Dome. The tour has six stadium-only performances in cities like Singapore, Melbourne, Sydney, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, and Jakarta, marking their largest-scale tour to date.

Stray Kids will be connecting with fans in Kaohsiung on November 3, Tokyo from November 14-17, Manila on November 23, and various cities like Macau, Osaka, and Bangkok in December.

In 2025, the tour expands even further with stops planned in Latin America, North America, and Europe, starting with Hong Kong on January 18-19.

Fans worldwide can’t wait to see what’s next!

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
