• ZEROBASEONE Makes History in Japan, First Foreign Artist to Achieve Three Oricon Titles

Boy group ZEROBASEONE is making waves in Japan! On October 31, Oricon announced that the group, which includes Sung Han Bin, Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu Bin, Park Geon Wook, and Han Yoo Jin, has topped three categories on the Oricon weekly rankings with their Blu-ray & DVD 2024 ZEROBASEONE FAN-CON IN JAPAN. This marks a historic moment as they are the first foreign artist to win three titles simultaneously in the weekly video rankings this year.

ZEROBASEONE held their first fan concert in Japan, 2024 ZEROBASEONE FAN-CON IN JAPAN, at K-Arena Yokohama in March. This event was a huge success, as they sold out all the seats and got to meet their local fans for the first time.

The Blu-ray & DVD includes 11 amazing performances, featuring their hit single ゆらゆら -運命の花- (Yurayura -Unmei no Hana-*), which reached number one on the Oricon weekly single, combined single, and monthly single charts right after its release. The DVD also has fun game segments that highlight their close interactions with fans.

Since their debut in Japan, ZEROBASEONE has received a fantastic response. Their first single, ゆらゆら -運命の花-, became a Half Million Seller just one week after it came out. The Japan Record Association awarded it Double Platinum status for selling over 500,000 copies by March.

On top of that, ZEROBASEONE recently released their new digital single Only One Story, which is featured as the opening theme for the popular anime Pokémon. This just shows how influential they are becoming!

With their explosive popularity, ZEROBASEONE is ready to continue their overseas tour, 2024 ZEROBASEONE THE FIRST TOUR [TIMELESS WORLD], with concerts in Aichi from November 29 to December 1 and in Kanagawa on December 4 and 5. Fans can’t wait to see what they will do next!

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
“I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.

People quickly filled the comment section with supportive messages, telling her to stay strong and reminding her she’s not alone.

Min Ah debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019. In 2020, she made headlines when she revealed that she had been bullied during her time in the group. The confession caused a huge reaction in the K-pop world, leading to conversations about idols’ mental health and group dynamics.

Recently, she surprised fans when it was revealed she began working as a manager at a dermatology clinic, showing a new side of her life outside of the entertainment spotlight.

Fans continue to cheer her on, hoping she finds peace and happiness in whatever path she chooses next.
