• Sunwoo Jung-A Reveals She Wrote "Jealous" While Thinking of AKMU's Lee Chan Hyuk

Singer Sunwoo Jung-A recently opened up about her song "Jealous" and shared a surprising story about what inspired it.

She was a guest on Kim Jaejoong's YouTube show, Jae friends, where she performed her songs "Greed" and "Jealous" from her album Beyond 2. White Shade.

After listening to "Jealous," Kim Jaejoong asked, "Who is this song about? Maybe a fellow celebrity or someone you admired back then?" Sunwoo Jung-A was caught off guard, replying, "No one's ever asked me that, not even my label or the music video director!"

She then revealed, "Actually, I wrote 'Jealous' with AKMU's Lee Chan Hyuk in mind. He's still young, but he was even younger when I wrote it a while ago."

She laughed, adding, "I saw he was already earning so much in royalties, and then I read he was even writing a book! I thought, 'Wow, you already have everything—what more could you want?' That feeling inspired the lyrics."

Sunwoo Jung-A also shared her feelings about Kim Jaejoong, admitting, "The Kim Jaejoong I knew felt almost unreal."

When asked why, she explained, "You debuted so young. Back then, SM Entertainment was a huge dream for aspiring singers." She added, "I wanted to get into SM in my teens, but after being rejected, I became a singer-songwriter."

When she realized it was Jaejoong's 21st debut anniversary, she teased, "You’re like a spirit of the entertainment world. Funny enough, my husband and I have been together 21 years too!"

Jaejoong asked if she ever gets bored after so long, to which Sunwoo Jung-A replied, "Sometimes it gets tiring, but that's different from getting bored," showing her love and dedication to her husband.
