• DAY6 Announces Additional Locations for Their New World Tour

    DAY6 is excited to announce more concert locations for their third world tour!

    On October 30, JYP Entertainment shared a poster on DAY6's official social media channels, revealing new cities for their DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR 'FOREVER YOUNG'.

    The band will perform in six new locations: Kaohsiung Music Center in Kaohsiung on January 18, 2025; Hordern Pavilion in Sydney on April 6; Festival Hall in Melbourne on April 9; Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, on April 12; YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on April 16; and The Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York on April 19. This will be DAY6's first solo concert in Auckland, making it a special event for fans. The phrase "AND MORE" hints at even more locations to be added, building excitement among their supporters.

    DAY6 kicked off their new world tour on September 4 with a sold-out concert in Incheon, filling over 40,000 seats. This is their first tour in 4 years and 8 months since their DAY6 WORLD TOUR 'GRAVITY'. They began their overseas concerts with shows in Kuala Lumpur on October 5 and 6, followed by sold-out performances in Bali, Surabaya, and Jakarta throughout October. Upcoming shows in Bangkok on November 30 and December 1, as well as concerts in Hong Kong on January 25 and 26, 2025, have also sold out, proving that DAY6 is a beloved band.

    The tour will keep going with performances in Singapore on November 22, Bangkok at the end of November, and then to Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tokyo, Manila, Sydney, Melbourne, Los Angeles, and New York.

    In the meantime, DAY6 is enjoying success with their title track "Melting" from their new album Band Aid, which topped the Melon Top 100 chart. Their mini-album track "HAPPY" from Fourever also reached number one on the September monthly chart. Popular songs like "To Be a One Page" and "Welcome to the Show" have returned to the Melon Top 100 chart and are still performing well on major music charts. With so much going on, all eyes are on DAY6 as they continue to shine in the music scene!

  • BTS's Jimin Makes History by Winning 'Fan’s Choice Grand Prize' at the 2024 MAMA Awards

    BTS member Jimin made history at the 2024 MAMA AWARDS, becoming the first solo artist ever to win the prestigious Visa Fan’s Choice of the Year award.

    On November 22, Jimin was honored with the Fan’s Choice of the Year award at the 2024 MAMA AWARDS JAPAN, held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan. This marks a huge milestone in his career, especially considering his ongoing military service.

    Jimin made history as the first solo artist to win the Fan’s Choice of the Year award, a category that BTS had dominated for six years since its debut in 2018.

    In addition to this achievement, Jimin also took home the Fan’s Choice Grand Prize, making him a two-time winner at this year’s awards.

    Although Jimin couldn't attend the ceremony due to his military service, his name was met with loud cheers from fans when announced.

    His incredible win continues to prove his global influence as a solo artist. Jimin had also won Best Male Artist at the 2023 MAMA AWARDS, marking back-to-back wins at the event.

    The MAMA AWARDS praised Jimin for his groundbreaking achievements, saying, “As the first K-pop solo artist to reach 4 billion streams and set the longest-running #1 record for a Korean artist, Jimin has proven his influence as a world-class artist and global pop star.”

    Jimin's win also made him the first solo artist to claim a grand prize at the MAMA AWARDS in 10 years, with his achievement sparking excitement worldwide.

    On X (formerly Twitter), the hashtag “CONGRATULATIONS JIMIN” topped the trends, while “우리지민이상받았네” (Our Jimin Got the Award) reached the #1 spot in Korea.

    Jimin’s ongoing success continues to shine even during his military service. He was also recently named Best K-pop at the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards and continues to be recognized for his charitable efforts, including a recent donation of 100 million KRW to the National Defense Soldier and Veteran Love Fund.
