• NewJeans' Debut Track 'Hype Boy' Hits 600 Million Streams on Spotify

    NewJeans' debut song "Hype Boy" has reached an impressive milestone, surpassing 600 million streams on Spotify!

    On October 29, the world's biggest music streaming platform reported that "Hype Boy," one of the title tracks from NewJeans' debut album New Jeans, has achieved a total of 600,032,561 streams as of October 27. This makes it the fourth song by NewJeans to hit the 600 million mark, following "OMG," "Ditto," and "Super Shy."

    "Hype Boy" is a major hit for the group, featuring a fun and stylish blend of moombahton and electropop. Since its release in August 2022, it quickly climbed the charts both in South Korea and internationally, creating a huge sensation.

    The song even sparked a global challenge and became a popular meme called "NewJeans' Hype Boy." Even after more than two years, "Hype Boy" continues to rank high on major music charts, proving its lasting popularity.

    So far, NewJeans has released 13 songs that each have over 100 million streams on Spotify. "OMG" stands out with over 700 million streams, while "Ditto," "Super Shy," and "Hype Boy" have all crossed the 600 million mark.

    Other tracks like "Attention" have over 400 million streams, "New Jeans" has more than 300 million, and "ETA," "Cookie," and "Hurt" each have over 200 million streams.

    Additionally, "Cool With You," "ASAP," "Get Up," and "How Sweet" have all surpassed 100 million streams. In total, all of NewJeans' songs have accumulated over 5.3 billion streams on Spotify!
