• BTS Jimin's Birthday Sparks Global Wave of Charitable Donations from Fans

    In honor of BTS member Jimin’s birthday on October 13, fans across the globe have shown their admiration for him through heartfelt acts of kindness.

    The Myanmar fanbase "PJMLand_Myanmar" organized a blood drive and donated essential supplies like clean water, medicine, clothing, and food for refugees.

    They’re also working to rebuild a school for 700 students in Phekhon, on the Shan-Karenni border, inspired by Jimin's commitment to education and giving back.

    India’s "JIMIN_INDIA_" fanbase also celebrated by supporting orphanages, providing food and childcare kits to elderly people and children, and sponsoring a month’s education for five children in need.

    Jimin’s Asia-Pacific fan club, "JIMINNATION_ASOC," made donations to "Save the Children" and "Doctors Without Borders" to honor his compassion.

    Inspired individual fans in India helped fund a vocational training room for young girls and organized a birthday celebration with underprivileged children, singing songs for Jimin.

    Another fan made a donation to the "Thaagam Foundation," part of the UN Global Compact, to provide meals for malnourished children, carrying Jimin’s message of kindness even further.

    In Iran, fans raised funds to support a charity for cancer patients, continuing their efforts from last year.

    Meanwhile, in Korea, a fan donated to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation to support children with cancer, with the foundation sharing the certificate of appreciation on their official account to commemorate Jimin's birthday.

    Lee Min Ho recalled, "I was attending the Baeksang for the first time, and I was so excited. Since I wasn’t going as Goo Jun Pyo, but as Lee Min Ho, I styled my hair in a perm and was ready to go." However, things took an unexpected turn when he tripped and fell on the red carpet.

    He sighed, recalling, "That day, I fell. I fell and created so many memes. Even now, I look back and think, 'How did I walk that quickly on the red carpet?'"

    Laughing at his own clumsiness, he admitted, "I was moving at the speed of light, no composure, no focus. Honestly, more than the joy of winning the award, that day was chaotic and so embarrassing for me."
