• The Boyz Kevin: “We Sometimes Fight, But It’s Healthy!”

In the latest episode of the global K-food talk show BYOB, members Jacob, Kevin, and Eric from The Boyz opened up about their experiences and stories.

On the 25th, the fourth episode of BYOB was uploaded to the YouTube channel JohnMaat. Hosts Park Jun-hyung and Brian introduced The Boyz as “world class,” receiving a warm applause from the audience.

The conversation kicked off with a discussion about life in an 11-member group. When asked if they get along well, Kevin shared, “We sometimes fight. I think that’s healthy for the team.” Jacob chimed in, saying, “All the members are so nice that we’ve never had a big fight.”

The Boyz are gearing up for their comeback on the 28th with their 9th mini album, Fuse. They explained that this new album symbolizes “not following what others do and going our own way.” Eric even teased a performance of the album’s track “Bite Back,” creating a fun, K-Pocha (Korean-style pub) vibe.

Since BYOB focuses on Korean food, the conversation naturally turned to cuisine. When asked what dishes they would recommend to international fans, Kevin picked Kongguksu (cold noodle soup made with ground soybeans), and Jacob chose Saury Stew.

Eric mentioned his love for spicy ramen and even cooked some right on the show to share with the hosts.

They enjoyed it so much that they joked Eric should open a ramen shop. He responded, “That’s my dream!” which brought a lot of laughs.

The trio also took part in the special “Hot Challenge,” where they tried some spicy K-food. They managed to handle up to level three spicy dumplings, which contained capsaicin, while the hosts were left overwhelmed by the heat.

Keeping with the show’s theme of guests bringing their own drinks, Jacob, Kevin, and Eric brought whiskey. They chose dishes like spicy chicken stew and banquet noodles from the K-Pocha menu. Eric showed off his “big eater” skills by devouring an impressive 16 pieces of fish cake, a typical side dish.

BYOB is a global K-food talk show where hosts Park Jun-hyung and Brian act as K-Pocha owners, sharing amusing truths with guests in English. New episodes are released every Friday at 10 AM on the JohnMaat YouTube channel.

  • Lee Min Ho Shares the Hilarious Story Behind His Famous Baeksang Fall—The One Thing He’ll Never Forget!

Actor Lee Min Ho recently shared an unforgettable and embarrassing moment from his early career, revealing how he became a “falling star” at his first Baeksang Arts Awards.

On the December 25th episode of You Quiz on the Block (Episode 274), Lee Min Ho made a guest appearance and reflected on his rise to fame.

The actor, known for his iconic role as Goo Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers, won the Best New Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards, but it wasn’t just his victory that grabbed attention.

Lee Min Ho recalled, "I was attending the Baeksang for the first time, and I was so excited. Since I wasn’t going as Goo Jun Pyo, but as Lee Min Ho, I styled my hair in a perm and was ready to go." However, things took an unexpected turn when he tripped and fell on the red carpet.

He sighed, recalling, "That day, I fell. I fell and created so many memes. Even now, I look back and think, 'How did I walk that quickly on the red carpet?'"

Laughing at his own clumsiness, he admitted, "I was moving at the speed of light, no composure, no focus. Honestly, more than the joy of winning the award, that day was chaotic and so embarrassing for me."

Though his win was a highlight, Lee Min Ho humorously shared that the incident of tripping overshadowed the excitement of his achievement.

It’s safe to say that while the fall became a funny meme, it also became a lesson in humility for the actor, and a moment that fans still remember to this day.
