Producer Koala is in hot water after being accused of assaulting a fan of singer Jessi, leading to his complete removal from the TVING show Rap: Public.
On the 25th, the Rap: Public production team announced, “We have edited out the footage featuring Koala from episode 4 onward. Future episodes will also be adjusted.” Filming for the show has already been finished.
The controversy began on September 29th when a young male fan approached Jessi for an autograph in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
Jessi refused his request, and at that moment, one of her companions reportedly assaulted the fan, causing public outrage.
