Earlier that day, Xports News reported that Soyeon 's contract renewal with Cube had failed. However, the agency clarified, "We are still in discussions."

Soyeon sparked some controversy after performing a song that seemed aimed at her agency in August. During her solo stage at the "iDOL in SEOUL" concert, she rapped lyrics like, "Contract ends in November. Who's gonna stop me?" and "Should I be careful about this sh*t?"
