This romantic comedy historical drama tells the story of a woman who accidentally becomes a thief and a nobleman from the Joseon era whose soul switches with hers. Together, they work to rescue and protect each other.
The story gained attention after winning an excellence award at the "2nd Drama Script Contest" held by Studio Dragon in 2020. The script is written by Lee Sun.
In the drama, Nam Ji Hyun plays Hong Eun-jo, a nobleman's daughter with a yangban father and a slave mother. Also known as "Hong Gil-dong," she secretly lives as a righteous thief, stealing from corrupt officials to help the common people, while dealing with rumors about herself.
Moon Sang Min takes on the role of Lee Yeol, a charming and dignified Do-wol Daegun. He loves detective work and uses his sharp mind to uncover Hong Gil-dong's identity. However, he unexpectedly falls in love at first sight with Hong Eun-jo, becoming more straightforward in his feelings.
Nam Ji Hyun was last seen in SBS's Good Partner, which ended on September 20, while Moon Sang Min recently starred in Coupang Play's series Cinderella at 2 AM, which wrapped up on September 22.
