• BIGBANG's G-Dragon Teases November Comeback with New Song Preview on 'You Quiz'

G-Dragon from BIGBANG is getting ready for his solo comeback! Fans can expect him to return in early November if everything goes as planned.

Reports say G-Dragon is in the final stages of preparing his new solo album, aiming for a release next month. He recently filmed an episode of the tvN show "You Quiz on the Block," which adds to the excitement about his comeback. G-Dragon has postponed the release a few times to make sure the album is of high quality.

The new album is likely to be a full-length project with several tracks. He is busy making changes and finalizing songs and music videos for his comeback. G-Dragon is also set to perform at the '2024 MAMA Awards' on November 23 in Osaka, Japan, marking the start of the countdown to his return.

On the 21st, G-Dragon posted a mysterious black image on his fan account with no text. When fans brightened the image, they found the message "loading progress 10%," which made everyone even more curious about his comeback.

This will be G-Dragon’s first solo album since Kwon Ji Yong, released in June 2017, meaning he has been away for about 7 years and 5 months. Because fans have waited so long, he is putting extra effort into making it perfect.

After the album drops, he plans to hold a concert tour and promote actively. There have been many questions about when he will return, but his agency, Galaxy Corporation, has said that the schedule is not yet decided. However, it seems G-Dragon will soon announce the release date for his album.

The "You Quiz on the Block" episode featuring G-Dragon will air on the 30th. In a teaser that came out on the 23rd, he appeared on the show. MC Yoo Jae-suk, who hasn’t seen G-Dragon in a long time, warmly welcomed him, saying, "It’s been a while. I must be glad to see you." When a short clip of G-Dragon's new song played, Yoo Jae-suk jokingly asked, "Why can we only hear this much?"

G-Dragon also shared stories about making his hit songs and his time as a trainee. Yoo Jae-suk mentioned that he called G-Dragon when he was in the military, which sparked curiosity about their conversation.

G-Dragon debuted with Big Bang in 2006 and became famous with hits like "Lies," "Last Farewell," "Haru Haru," "Bang Bang Bang," and "Fantastic Baby." He went solo in 2009, scoring hits with songs like "Heartbreaker," "Crocodile," "That XX," and "Crayon."

With success in both groups and solo, he has become a true "K-pop icon." Last December, he left YG Entertainment after being there since his trainee days and signed with Galaxy Corporation, starting a new chapter in his career.
