• BTS's Jimin Shatters Records as 19 Songs Hit Over 100 Million Streams on Spotify

BTS’s Jimin has achieved an amazing new record as a K-pop solo artist by surpassing 19 songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify, the biggest music platform in the world. The remix of the main theme song "Angel Pt.2" from the Hollywood movie Fast & Furious: Ride or Die (Fast & Furious 10) hit over 100 million streams on October 8 (KST).

Jimin's first solo album, FACE, has six songs that have all crossed the 100 million stream mark. This includes his collaboration with Taeyang called "VIBE," the OST "With You" from the tvN drama, and the main theme song "Angel Pt.1" from Fast & Furious: Ride or Die.

In total, Jimin has now reached 15 songs that have achieved over 100 million streams on Spotify, thanks to his record-breaking song "Promise" on SoundCloud and tracks from his second solo album, like "Who," "Closer Than This," "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (Feat. Loco)," and "Be Mine."

Even though Jimin's personal Spotify profile was created later than the other BTS members, he quickly became the fastest to achieve 15 songs with over 100 million streams. Before the release of "Angel Pt.2," Forbes had predicted, “With Jimin's Midas touch, this song is likely to achieve significant commercial success. Everything associated with Jimin tends to turn to gold,” and he has certainly proven that with his strong presence on Spotify.

In addition to his 15 songs, Jimin is now the first K-pop solo artist to reach over 100 million streams on 19 songs. This includes solo tracks from BTS albums like "Lie," "Serendipity: Intro," "Serendipity Full Length Edition," and "Filter."

With his impressive streaming success, Jimin's second solo album MUSE, released after his military enlistment, has become the first and only K-pop album from 2024 to exceed 1.4 billion streams. Along with his debut album FACE, which has over 2.4 billion streams, Jimin is now the only Korean solo artist with two albums that have each achieved over 1.4 billion streams on Spotify.

Meanwhile, the title track "Who" from Jimin’s second solo album has made a comeback on the latest Billboard charts (as of October 19), ranking 25th on the Hot 100. It has maintained its presence for 12 weeks, further solidifying his status as a leading K-pop artist.

Jimin's journey in the music world keeps getting brighter, and his impressive streaming records show that fans truly love his music. With every release, he continues to inspire others and proves that his talent knows no bounds!

  • Lee Min Ho Shares the Hilarious Story Behind His Famous Baeksang Fall—The One Thing He’ll Never Forget!

Actor Lee Min Ho recently shared an unforgettable and embarrassing moment from his early career, revealing how he became a “falling star” at his first Baeksang Arts Awards.

On the December 25th episode of You Quiz on the Block (Episode 274), Lee Min Ho made a guest appearance and reflected on his rise to fame.

The actor, known for his iconic role as Goo Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers, won the Best New Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards, but it wasn’t just his victory that grabbed attention.

Lee Min Ho recalled, "I was attending the Baeksang for the first time, and I was so excited. Since I wasn’t going as Goo Jun Pyo, but as Lee Min Ho, I styled my hair in a perm and was ready to go." However, things took an unexpected turn when he tripped and fell on the red carpet.

He sighed, recalling, "That day, I fell. I fell and created so many memes. Even now, I look back and think, 'How did I walk that quickly on the red carpet?'"

Laughing at his own clumsiness, he admitted, "I was moving at the speed of light, no composure, no focus. Honestly, more than the joy of winning the award, that day was chaotic and so embarrassing for me."

Though his win was a highlight, Lee Min Ho humorously shared that the incident of tripping overshadowed the excitement of his achievement.

It’s safe to say that while the fall became a funny meme, it also became a lesson in humility for the actor, and a moment that fans still remember to this day.
