He wrote the letter on an in-flight postcard during the two-hour flight, taking the time to express his gratitude for the role Lee Soo Man played in his life.

He also mentioned that the timing didn't feel right for a face-to-face conversation, so he decided to hand the letter to Lee Soo Man as he was leaving the plane. Jaejoong shared that just delivering the letter made him feel content. "That was enough for me," he added.

Later, Jaejoong found out how Lee Soo Man reacted to the letter through Kim Heechul. According to Heechul, Lee Soo Man had proudly mentioned the encounter a few times, humorously asking, "But… who is Jaejoong again?"
