• Seol In Ah Cries During 5km Run, Reveals Struggles with Cardio

Actress Seol In Ah, who is often called a "fitness genius," showed a different side during a recent running challenge.

In the October 2nd episode of tvN's Iron Girl Squad, Seol In Ah, along with Jin Seo Yeon, Yui, and Park Joo Hyun, trained hard on Jeju Island for an upcoming 10km marathon. Team leader Kim Dong Hyun shared, “In 10 days, we will be running our first marathon. It’s a 10km race for triathletes. I’ve done this a few times, and the way you prepare changes if there’s a competition or not. Just finishing gets you a medal.”

Seol In Ah, however, wasn’t too excited about the challenge. She confessed, “I hate running the most. I really dislike cardio,” looking worried during the training session. “I’ll definitely be in last place. I can’t run,” she added, showing her concern.

Things got even tougher when a typhoon warning was issued for Jeju Island. As the race began, Seol In Ah struggled against the strong wind, falling behind and recording a pace of 7 minutes and 5 seconds at the 1km mark.

“It’s so hard! It’s really hard!” she exclaimed while running, and soon felt a painful side stitch. Despite her struggles, she pushed through and adjusted her pace, ultimately completing the 5km run in 36 minutes and 15 seconds, improving her time by 51 seconds.

After the race, Seol In Ah reflected on her experience, admitting, “It was tough, but I’m proud I finished. I still don’t love cardio, but I know I can improve!” Her determination to keep going shows her fighting spirit, even when faced with challenges.
