• RIIZE's Seunghan Pens Handwritten Letter Saying Goodbye: "I Don’t Want to Cause Any More Hurt"

Seunghan has opened up about his decision to leave the boy group RIIZE. On October 13th, he shared a heartfelt handwritten letter on Weverse, expressing his feelings about his departure amid a personal life controversy.

In his letter, Seunghan acknowledged the concerns of fans who were hoping for his return, saying, "I know many people are seriously considering my return to activities, and I also recognize the seriousness of the current situation." He emphasized his deep reflection on whether he had only been thinking about himself and the impact he might have had on his fellow members and the company.

He expressed feelings of worry and guilt, saying, "All I could think about were feelings of worry and guilt. So, I believe that leaving the team is the best path for everyone." Seunghan wanted to avoid causing more confusion or hurt for the fans, the members, or the company. He said, "It breaks my heart that fans, who only love RIIZE, are fighting because of me."

Seunghan sincerely hopes that the bond between RIIZE and their fandom, Breeze, remains strong despite his departure. "I sincerely wish that the RIIZE I love will be even more loved in the future, and I will genuinely support them," he added.

His agency, Wizard Productions, initially announced that he would be returning to the group. However, after fans reacted negatively due to his previous controversies, they confirmed his departure from RIIZE on the same day as his letter. Now, RIIZE will continue as a six-member group, including Shotaro, Eunsuk, Seongchan, Wonbin, Sohee, and Anton.

In his letter, Seunghan expressed his gratitude to the company and the members for giving him another chance, along with apologies to those who have supported him. His words reflect his desire to prioritize the well-being of the group and their fans over his personal feelings.

Seunghan’s heartfelt message highlights his dedication to RIIZE and the love he has for his members and fans. As he steps away, he hopes for a brighter future for both the group and their supporters.

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
