• Park Seo Joon Talks About Life After 'Youn's Kitchen': "It's Disappointing That Variety Shows Get More Attention Than Acting"

Park Seo Joon recently opened up about how his time on a variety show led to many advertisement offers, but he feels a bit disappointed that this attention overshadows his acting career.

On October 13, during a video on the YouTube channel 'Fairy Jaehyung,' Park Seo Joon shared some interesting behind-the-scenes stories about his variety show experiences. He reflected on how everything changed for him after appearing on 'Youn's Kitchen 2.' He expressed, “I enjoyed 'Youn's Kitchen' so much. It was a unique experience, and I was nervous because I had always been a fan of the show.”

He explained that joining the show felt like a big step outside his comfort zone. “I felt more stressed than I did in high school. Being the youngest member, I felt the need to perform well and show my true self,” he shared. It was a lot of pressure for him, but he also found the experience rewarding.

When asked about what parts of himself he didn't want to show on camera, he admitted, “I was insecure about my awkward speech.” He talked about how he worked hard on improving his pronunciation, and while he still feels nervous, he thinks he's made progress.

After his time on the variety shows, he noticed a big change in his career. “I became more relatable to the public, and I received a lot of advertisement offers,” he said. However, he also admitted, “It’s a bit disappointing that despite all the hard work I put into acting, it's the variety shows that get the most attention.”

His comment brought laughter from those around him, but he also shared a serious thought: “I think a person has to be charming for their main work to seem more attractive.” He found it confusing at first, receiving so many offers while focusing on acting, but he hopes that it shows people are noticing his hard work.

In the end, Park Seo Joon expressed his hope that people can appreciate both his acting and his newfound popularity from variety shows. He wants to continue working hard and believes that in time, his dedication will shine through.
