• Jessi’s Team Under Police Investigation After Assault on Fan

A member of Jessi’s team is facing police investigation after an alleged assault on a fan who asked for a photo. On October 14, it was reported by News1 that the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul summoned Producer A for questioning about the incident.

Producer A, a close friend of Jessi, was at the scene when the incident happened. The police want to question A to find the person who attacked the fan and then left quickly.

The situation came to light after a whistleblower shared their experience on JTBC’s 'Incident Director.' They said they were assaulted while trying to take a picture with Jessi's team in Apgujeong, Seoul, on the early morning of September 29.

The whistleblower claimed that the assailant, believed to be A, cursed in English, hit them in the face, and kicked them. They also mentioned that Jessi tried to intervene but left without taking further action.

After the incident, the whistleblower reported the attack to the police. The Gangnam Police confirmed they had to contact A to get more information about the assailant. A is expected to meet with them next week.

Jessi responded to the situation, saying the assailant was someone she had never seen before that day. She expressed her surprise at what happened and apologized for not being able to support her fan better. “I feel a moral responsibility for what happened,” she said.

Jessi also mentioned that her agency has been in contact with the victim's mother to ensure the assailant apologizes and faces consequences for their actions. She urged everyone not to jump to conclusions based on rumors or one-sided stories.

This incident has raised concerns about fan safety and how quickly situations can escalate. Fans hope for a resolution that will address the harm done while also emphasizing the importance of respect for both artists and their supporters. Jessi’s sincerity in addressing the matter shows her commitment to her fans and the responsibility she feels for her team’s actions.

  • Song Min Ho Faces Backlash Over Shirtless Party Pics While on Medical Leave—Fans Ask, "Where’s the Social Anxiety?"

WINNER's Song Min Ho is facing criticism after photos of him partying and traveling surfaced during his military social service period, where he cited social anxiety, panic disorder, and bipolar disorder as reasons for medical leave.

According to officials from the Mapo Resident Welfare Facility, Song Min Ho was assigned to a role limiting public interaction due to his conditions. A supervisor shared with Dispatch, "Song Min Ho has a fear of crowded places, so we placed him in a low-visibility area."

However, Dispatch revealed photos suggesting otherwise. The rapper was seen enjoying camping trips and parties in Gangwon-do, including a DJ party at a popular café in Goseong in August 2023. At the time, Song Min Ho was reportedly working for the Mapo Facility Management Corporation.

In the photos, Song Min Ho sported long hair, wore shorts, and appeared shirtless, showing off his tattoos. Notable ink included "Proper Posture" on his left shoulder blade, "Clear Mind" on his right, and "PLAY BOY" across his waist.

A partygoer told Dispatch, "He was drinking and smoking, fully enjoying the party. There were no signs of anxiety or discomfort."

This isn't the first time questions have been raised about Song Min Ho's social anxiety. Reports revealed he joined a running crew during his service and even completed a 20km marathon.

A member of the crew emailed Dispatch, saying, "We run together regularly. He’s been working hard on his fitness and lost a lot of weight."

An official from the welfare facility added, "He’s preparing for his return by losing weight and building his physique through personal training."

Despite these efforts, Song Min Ho is now under investigation for alleged incomplete service. On December 23, the Military Manpower Administration referred the case to the Mapo Police Station.

Authorities plan to review evidence, including CCTV footage, entry logs, game data, and testimonies, to determine whether he neglected his duties.

As fans and the public weigh in, Song Min Ho’s medical leave and his social activities continue to spark heated debate.
