In his letter, Seunghan wrote, “First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize to the members and fans.” He reflected on how he felt when old photos of him were revealed. “I felt a deep sense of disappointment and regret in myself. I can only imagine how the members and fans beside me felt. You must have been angry, surprised, and disappointed.”

He continued, “I’m sorry to the fans who have supported me since this important starting point. I also feel sorry for the members who should have worked hard together with me.” Seunghan expressed his gratitude towards his fellow members for reaching out to him during this difficult time. “It must have been a really hard decision, and I am very grateful and feel sorry for being given this opportunity,” he added.

He will join the group after a period of preparation and is set to participate in some activities planned for November, where he will finally greet fans again.

Seunghan had taken a break for about 10 months due to personal issues. SM clarified, “He has been deeply reflecting on his past behavior and feels sorry for the members and fans.
