Miyeon from the girl group (G)I-DLE is set to throw the first pitch for Game 5 of the 2024 KBO Playoffs! The LG Twins announced that on October 11, at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, Miyeon will take the mound for the big game against KT Wiz. Musical actress Lee Areumsol will also be there, singing the national anthem.

This is an exciting moment for Miyeon, especially after her summer comeback with the hit song "Clacktion." She has been loved by fans and is currently on a world tour. Miyeon expressed her feelings about the event, saying, “I thank the LG Twins for inviting me to throw the first pitch for this important game. In the MY1PICK K-POP Individual Category Weekly Ranking for the third week of December (December 16–22), Jin earned a massive 6,154,905 hearts, keeping his position at the top. From the 5th week of February to the 3rd week of December, Jin has been unbeatable in the weekly rankings, proving he has an enormous fanbase and global influence.
