• Stray Kids' ATE Takes Over U.S. Charts, Setting New K-Pop Sales Records

Stray Kids' mini album ATE is making waves as the best-selling K-Pop album in the United States this year!

On October 6th, JYP Entertainment shared the exciting news that ATE, released on July 19, has achieved the highest sales for a K-Pop album in the U.S. as of September.

It is currently ranked fourth globally, following big names like Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department, Travis Scott’s Days Before Rodeo, and Billie Eilish’s HIT ME HARD AND SOFT.

The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart on August 3, making Stray Kids the first group ever to have five consecutive No. 1 entries. They have also topped several global charts, including the French Recording Industry Album Chart and Belgium's UltraTop Album Top 200 Chart.

Recently, they held their No. 1 spot on the Billboard and International Federation of the Phonographic Industry's Greek Album Chart for seven weeks, setting a new record for K-Pop and Asian artists.

Stray Kids will also be attending the "American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special" on October 6, where they will join other world-famous artists.

The group is currently on their new world tour, DOMINATE, connecting with their fans, known as "Stay." The tour kicked off in August with a sold-out show at the KSPO DOME in Seoul. They recently wrapped up a concert at the National Stadium in Singapore on September 28.

Next, they will hold a solo concert at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, on October 19, followed by shows in Sydney on October 26. They will also perform in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Tokyo, Manila in the Philippines, and Macau in November.

In December, they will continue the tour in Osaka, Japan, Bangkok, Thailand, and Jakarta, Indonesia, before finishing in Hong Kong in January. More locations in Latin America, North America, and Europe will be announced soon!

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
