Stray Kids' mini album "ATE" has made history by becoming the K-Pop album with the highest sales in the United States as of 2024. Released on July 19, "ATE" has taken the lead on the sales charts for K-Pop albums in the U.S. as of September 30. It has even outperformed albums by major artists like Taylor Swift, Travis Scott, and Billie Eilish, ranking fourth worldwide and showing just how popular Stray Kids really are.
The mini album's continued success helped it reach No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard main chart, the "Billboard 200," on August 3, making Stray Kids the first group in the world to achieve five consecutive No. 1 entries since they debuted on the chart. "ATE" has also topped charts in other countries, including the SNEP album chart in France and the Belgium Ultratop Album Top 200 chart. Recently, it has held the top spot on the Billboard and International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) Greek album chart for seven weeks in a row, making Stray Kids the only K-Pop and Asian artist to reach this milestone.
Keeping up their momentum, Stray Kids will be attending the "American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special" on October 6. They will perform alongside big names like Mariah Carey, Green Day, Brad Paisley, and more, making it an exciting event for fans.
Other stars joining the lineup include Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Samuel L. Jackson, and Smokey Robinson, raising excitement for Stray Kids' performance as they represent "Global Top Artists" at this important celebration.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids are busy with their new world tour, "Stray Kids World Tour ." They held sold-out concerts at the KSPO DOME in Seoul on August 24-25 and 31-September 1. On September 28, they made history as the first 4th generation K-Pop group to perform at the National Stadium in Singapore. Their upcoming concerts include shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Kaohsiung, Tokyo, Manila, Macau, Osaka, Bangkok, Jakarta, and Hong Kong, with plans to expand the tour into Latin America, North America, and Europe soon.
