BTS's Jimin has hit another amazing milestone with his song Who!
According to Circle Chart, Jimin’s title track Who from his second solo album MUSE has stayed at No. 1 for 10 consecutive weeks on the Global K-pop Chart.
This new record was set during the 39th week of 2024, as revealed on October 3. Who is now the first and only song in 2024 to stay on top of the Global K-pop Chart for 10 weeks in a row.
Just last week, Who had completed 9 straight weeks at No. 1, beating out aespa's Supernova and ILLIT’s Magnetic, which both held the top spot for 8 weeks. Now, Jimin has extended his lead with a 10th week at No. 1!
The Global K-pop Chart is based on K-pop streaming data from all over the world. Even though Who was tracked for only two days, it debuted at No. 7 on the 29th-week chart. From its first full week of tracking during the 30th week, Who has consistently ranked No. 1 through the 39th week, proving its massive global appeal.
Earlier in 2024, Jimin had already reached No. 1 on the Global K-pop Chart in the 27th week with his pre-release track Smeraldo Garden Marching Band from MUSE. With Who now securing 10 No. 1s, Jimin has racked up a total of 11 chart-toppers this year alone!
Who first debuted at No. 1 on the daily Global K-pop Chart on July 19, and it has stayed there for an impressive 74 days straight as of the latest chart on September 30, showing just how unstoppable Jimin’s popularity is.
Jimin’s second solo album MUSE and its title track Who continue to receive endless love, while his first solo album FACE, which came out last year, has now surpassed 300 million total streams on Melon. The title track Like Crazy is still going strong too, passing 122 million streams as of October 1.
Jimin’s reign on the charts shows no signs of slowing down!
