WINNER's leader, Kang Seung Yoon, showed his respect for National Foundation Day by sharing a meaningful post.
On October 3, Kang Seung Yoon posted a photo of the Korean national flag, the Taegeukgi, on his official account to commemorate National Foundation Day. This isn't the first time he has honored important days like this. He has also posted the Taegeukgi on other significant occasions, such as Memorial Day on June 6 and Liberation Day on August 15, showing his deep respect for his country.
Kang Seung Yoon has been serving as an active-duty soldier since June 20 last year in the 6th Infantry Division. He is set to be discharged in December 2024.
Last year, just before his enlistment, he shared with fans on Weverse that he received the Outstanding Soldier Award. He expressed his gratitude, saying, "Inner Circles (WINNER's fans), I won an award! I dedicate this honor to all of you who constantly worry about me. Love you, Park Inseos."
In addition to his military service, Kang Seung Yoon has been involved in charitable work. After heavy rains caused floods last year, he was the first celebrity to donate 10 million won to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association, showing his caring nature.
