BTS Jimin’s Fans Celebrate His Birthday Around the World with ‘Hello Jimtober♥’ Projects

As BTS Jimin‘s birthday (October 13) gets closer, fans all over the world are celebrating ‘Jimtober’ (Jimin + October) with exciting support projects. On October 1, the Japanese fanbase ‘TEAM_JAPAN-JP2’ lit up the famous Sapporo TV Tower in Hokkaido.

The beautiful lighting event, which was streamed live on YouTube, happened twice—once from 8:00 PM to 8:20 PM and again from 8:30 PM to 8:50 PM. The tower glowed bright yellow in honor of Jimin‘s special day.

‘TEAM_JAPAN-JP2’ also has big plans to run birthday ads on the Unika Vision screen in the busy Shinjuku area of Tokyo from October 7 to 13. Other Japanese fans are organizing video ads at nine different spots across eight areas, including Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro, from October 7 to November 3.

Fans from Kazakhstan are joining in too! They’re putting up a birthday ad on the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy building in Astana on October 12. On Jimin‘s actual birthday, October 13, a special ad will be shown at Future Plaza in Hongdae, Seoul. Plus, there’s going to be a lighting event on a 68-meter-high Ferris wheel in Astana at 8:00 PM on October 12, lighting up the sky in yellow and adding to the excitement.

Hungarian fans are celebrating with video ads on the outside wall of Sugar Plaza in Budapest, and LED ads at the Salgo Center in Salgotarjan. In Mexico, fans will run a birthday video ad on October 12 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Indonesian fans have gone all out, organizing a photo booth event from October 12 to 25, along with interactive activities and eye-catching birthday ads.

Even while serving in the military, Jimin‘s global influence is as strong as ever. His solo album’s title track “Who” from ‘MUSE’ recently ranked 30th on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking its 10th week on the chart!

Fans everywhere are making sure Jimin’s birthday is celebrated in the most memorable way.
