Girl group PURPLE KISS is gearing up to make their mark in the busy October comeback scene!
On October 1, Star News reported that PURPLE KISS—composed of members Na Go Eun, Dosie, Ireh, Yuki, Chaein, and Swan—is in the final stages of preparing for a new album set to drop this month.
This new release comes about seven months after their last mini-album, BXX, which came out in March. That album received lots of praise for its fun concept that showcased the loyalty and friendship among the six members.
Since debuting in March 2021, PURPLE KISS has created a unique identity in K-pop, exploring creative themes like witches, zombies, and quirky characters in their albums.
Fans are excited to see what new music and performances the group will unveil with their upcoming album.
Recently, PURPLE KISS also wrapped up their successful world tour, "PURPLE KISS 2024 BXX TOUR," which took them to 19 cities across the U.S., Canada, and Asia.

As 2024 comes to a close, the talented girl group has been receiving massive attention and praise from top publications in the US, UK, and Japan.
On December 17th, LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) earned a spot in the "Rising Star" category of 2024 K-Pop Yearbook by the American music magazineConsequence.
The publication described the group as having a year filled with "joy, passion, and elegance," while bringing even more fans into their musical world.
In response, LE SSERAFIM expressed their gratitude, saying, "2024 was filled with memories and experiences. The time spent sharing music with our fans on stage brought us great joy. The praise for LE SSERAFIM didn’t stop there. UK’s Dazed, a leading fashion and culture magazine, included LE SSERAFIM’s mini-album title track “CRAZY” in its 50 Best K-pop Tracks of 2024 list.
The song was hailed for reaching 100 million streams on Spotify in just two months, with its iconic line “All the girls are girling girling” sticking with listeners long after the first listen.
Teen Vogue, another American publication, also gave a glowing review, saying, “Building on the great success they had last year, LE SSERAFIM poured everything into ‘CRAZY’ this year. There's no music video cooler than this.” The song was also featured in Teen Vogue’s 15 Best K-pop Music Videos of 2024 list.
Not to be outdone, NME ranked the mini-album track “1-800-hot-n-fun” 9th in their 25 Best K-pop Songs of 2024, describing it as "a provocative song by hot girls" that will "be a track you’ll save on speed dial for exciting nights and play on repeat."
LE SSERAFIM's influence was also recognized in Japan, where they earned a spot in the "HIT K-POP" category at USEN’s USEN MUSIC AWARD 2024, with "EASY" coming in 2nd place and "CRAZY" in 7th. LE SSERAFIM was the only girl group to have two tracks in the top 10 of this prestigious chart.
To top it off, LE SSERAFIM dominated the global streaming charts, with “Smart” and “EASY” securing the 1st and 5th spots, respectively, onSpotify's Best K-Pop Songs of 2024 list.
