• BTS Jungkook's 'Seven' Performance Video Hits 100 Million Views, Winning Hearts Everywhere

    BTS's Jungkook has reached an amazing milestone with his performance video for "Seven," which has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube! The video was released on July 14 of last year (Korean time) on BTS's official YouTube channel, 'BangtanTV,' under the title 'Jung Kook 'Seven (feat. Latto)' Official Performance Video.'

    As Jungkook's first solo single, "Seven" debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and stayed on the chart for 15 weeks. It also topped the Billboard Global chart (excluding the U.S.) for nine weeks in a row and held the number one spot on the Global 200 chart for seven weeks, remaining active on both charts for 62 weeks. In the UK Official Singles Chart, it entered at third place and stayed on the chart for 14 weeks.

    "Seven" was named the number one song in over 200 countries and regions (excluding the U.S.) in Billboard's '2024 International Power Players' announcement. The song achieved a major milestone on Spotify, reaching one billion streams in just 108 days, making it the fastest to do so in the platform's history.

    It has now surpassed 1.9 billion streams. On Spotify's Daily Top Song Global chart, it held the number one position for a total of 71 days and topped the Weekly Top Song Global chart for nine weeks, remaining on the chart for over 47 weeks.

    The song also won the Best Music Video award at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards and received multiple honors, including Song of the Year at the 2024 BIC Seven Awards and Best Collaboration of the Year at the 2024 Planeta Awards.

    With "Seven," Jungkook has set four world records, including the fastest one billion streams on Spotify and the highest weekly streams for a male artist track on the Spotify global chart at over 89 million streams.

    He is also recognized by Guinness World Records for having the most number one hits (three) on the IFPI official chart for the MENA region.

At that time, I knew Hyun Jin-heon was portrayed as a ‘bad boy,’ and the way it was expressed was different from today’s standards.”

    With My Name is Kim Sam-soon now being re-released as part of Wavve's "New Classic" project, fans are revisiting the 2005 drama, and the character of Hyun Jin-heon is under fresh scrutiny. Director Kim Yun-cheol even admitted that the "prince on a white horse" and "bad boy" tropes that once worked in 2005 don’t quite match today's sensibilities, leading to edits in the 2024 version.
