BTS member Jin is making waves with his stunning magazine covers, proving just how influential he is!
Jin shines on the covers of two editions of Vogue Japan‘s December issue—the regular and a special edition—as well as the special edition of GQ Japan. He is the first star ever to be on the covers of both magazines at the same time, highlighting his global fame as the “Worldwide Handsome.“
These magazines flew to the No. 1 spot on Amazon Japan just 24 hours after pre-orders started, showing Jin’s amazing popularity. On Yes24 and Aladin, Jin‘s covers took the top three spots, achieving a complete “all-kill” across all three platforms and confirming his status as a top global superstar.
In addition, pre-orders for the October issue of Vogue Korea, featuring Jin, began on September 12 and the three-set edition quickly became the No. 1 best-seller in the books/music category on Gmarket.
Jin‘s cover for the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar also sold out fast on major online bookstores like Aladin and Yes24, with all three versions landing in the top three best-sellers.
On Rakuten, one of Japan’s largest e-commerce sites, Jin‘s issue also took the No. 1 spot right away when pre-orders started, proving his power as the “Visual King” with every magazine he graces.
In July, Jin became the first global ambassador for the French high-jewelry brand Fred. The necklace worth about 134.6 million KRW, the bracelet at 37.5 million KRW, and the earrings costing 17.2 million KRW that he wore sold out instantly.
In August, after being named a global ambassador for Gucci, products he wore quickly sold out in Korea, the U.S., Japan, and more. His appearance at Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2025 Women’s Fashion Show in Milan on September 20 was a hot topic, with the necklace he wore selling out in the U.S. shortly after.
Both brands saw so much traffic that their websites crashed when they announced Jin as their ambassador, proving his incredible influence.
Jin is also breaking records on social media, showing off his “Social King” status. After becoming a global ambassador, he quickly got the most “likes” in Gucci Instagram’s history and set the record for the most “likes” on Harper’s Bazaar Korea’s Instagram, among others.
