• LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eunchae Bids Emotional Farewell as 'Music Bank' MC

    LE SSERAFIM’s Hong Eunchae has officially stepped down from her role as the beloved MC of KBS 2TV’s Music Bank. After leading the show for 1 year and 7 months, the September 27th broadcast marked her final appearance as the 39th MC.

    In an emotional farewell, Hong Eunchae shared, "Today, I’m here to say my final goodbye. I want to thank my co-host Moon Sangmin, the viewers, and FEARNOTs who brightened every Friday with me. Thanks to the incredible artists who showcased amazing performances each week, I was able to learn and grow. I will cherish these precious memories and experiences and hope to return to Music Bank in an even more impressive form. Please don’t forget your bank president, Hong Eunchae." The heartfelt message resonated with fans, and her fellow LE SSERAFIM members joined her on set to show their unwavering support, highlighting the group's close-knit bond.

    After the broadcast, Eunchae further expressed her gratitude through Source Music, saying, "I want to thank everyone who supported me throughout this journey. I’m also deeply grateful to the staff who worked with me for such a long time. Having so many FEARNOTs come to my final broadcast gave me a lot of strength. I didn’t want this to be a sad day but rather one full of joy and happiness, so I tried to hold back my tears and lead the show with more energy. I received so much love as the MC of Music Bank, and it made me truly happy. Please continue to support me in the future."

    In addition to stepping down from Music Bank, her web variety show, Eunchae’s Style Log, will also wrap up with a final episode airing on October 3rd, which will reflect on her time as the show’s MC.

    Hong Eunchae’s vibrant and adorable energy, paired with her polished hosting skills, earned her the nickname "Baby President" among fans. From dance challenges to skits, she brought a lively charm to the show, making her first MC role a memorable one.

    Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM continues to enjoy global success with their title track "CRAZY" from their 4th mini album. The song has ranked on Spotify’s "Weekly Top Songs Global" chart for four consecutive weeks, currently sitting at No. 126.

    It’s also charting in 10 countries and regions, including Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong, proving its long-lasting popularity.

    ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

    On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

    She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

    ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

    She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

    ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

    Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
