Kwon Eun Bi opened up about her worries regarding money requests from friends.
On the September 24 episode of SBS’s ‘Dolsing For Men,’ Kwon Eun Bi joined fellow singers Kim Wan Sun and Hwasa as guests.
During the show, she revealed that she has begun getting requests to borrow money and is unsure how to say no.
She explained, “It’s not a huge amount. It’s something I could lend, but I feel like if I lend it once, they’ll keep asking.”
Lee Sang Min responded, “This is something everyone worries about. Don’t Hwasa and Kim Wan Sun get those kinds of requests as well?” Tak Jae Hoon then asked, “Are you willing to lend it? What about us, who have clear identities?”
Kim Wan Sun shared her thoughts, saying, “The closer you are to someone, the more you should avoid borrowing money. If we’re close, I think of it as something I won’t expect to get back.” Hwasa agreed, stating, “I refuse money transactions outright. I’ve lost friends over money. I learned from that experience that it’s not worth it. If they’re important to me, I try to give an amount that I can part with without regret.”
Kwon Eun Bi mentioned that she would definitely refuse, but she was curious about how to do it politely. Tak Jae Hoon then asked, “Haven’t you ever borrowed money?” When Kwon Eun Bi admitted that she had borrowed from her older brother, he gave some vague advice, saying, “Hold onto that feeling. Keep in mind that you might need to borrow money someday too.”
