Actor Byeon Woo Seok has shared his heartfelt thanks to his fans after winning a major award.
On September 25th, the Seoul Drama Awards 2024 took place at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. Byeon Woo Seok took home the Asia Star Award in the International Invitation category, earning recognition for his role as Ryu Sun Jae in the hit tvN drama Lovely Runner. The series, which wrapped up in May, gained huge popularity.
Though Byeon Woo Seok couldn’t be there in person, he shared a video message expressing his gratitude. He said, “I’m sorry that I couldn’t attend in person due to a prior commitment, but I’m happy to greet you through this video. Since this award comes from my fans, I feel like I’m receiving it together with all of you.”
He continued by thanking his supporters, saying, “Thanks to Lovely Runner, I’ve made so many memories with my fans this year. I’m always thankful for your continued love and support. Thank you again for this opportunity at the Seoul Drama Awards. I promise to come back with even better performances in the future. Thank you.”
The Seoul Drama Awards, which started in 2006, celebrated its 19th year as an international festival recognizing excellence in drama.
