ZEROBASEONE Staff Allegedly Mock Members as They Break Down in Tears at Concert

ZEROBASEONE kicked off their highly anticipated 2024 tour, ZEROBASEONE THE FIRST TOUR [TIMELESS WORLD], with an emotional concert in Seoul on September 20. Since then, the group has performed two more shows.

During their third concert, emotions ran high as several members couldn’t hold back their tears. Park Gunwook was especially emotional during his ending speech, bursting into tears.

Fans believe his overwhelming feelings came from reflecting on how ZEROBASEONE is a temporary project group formed through Boys Planet.

Other members quickly tried to comfort him, but maknae Han Yujin also became teary-eyed, unable to control his own emotions.

Leader Sung Hanbin, known for trying to stay composed, couldn’t hold back his tears this time and cried during his speech as well.

Kim Jiwoong, the eldest member who has already debuted three times, broke down in tears during several concerts. Having gone through so much in his career, his emotions were clear for all to see.

Kim Taerae also looked teary during his speech on the third day, though he made an effort to hold it in.

Kim Gyuvin, one of the few members who didn’t cry, stayed strong for his group. He was seen comforting his emotional bandmates, even bringing them tissues to help them through the moment.

However, fans in attendance noticed something that upset them even more. According to reports, some staff members, including an alleged manager, were seen mocking the emotional moments.

The seats next to me were for the staff, but this person who called themselves a manager kept mocking the fans and members who were crying by making exaggerated fake crying sounds. It was really unpleasant and ruined the atmosphere. Since they were doing it right next to me, when I looked over, they pretended like they weren’t doing anything. What’s that all about? LOL.

Fans claim that instead of offering support, the staff were making fun of the members for crying, leaving fans disappointed.

Fans took to social media to express their anger and frustration over the staff’s behavior, calling for more respect and empathy for the group during such emotional times.
