• Jeon Soyeon’s Contract Expires in November: Industry Insider Wonders What’s Next for the (G)I-DLE Leader?

Jeon Soyeon, the leader of (G)I-DLE, has confirmed that her contract with CUBE Entertainment will expire this November, raising questions about her future.

On September 22nd, Ten Asia reported that rumors of Jeon Soyeon signing with KOZ Entertainment, the label under HYBE led by Zico, are unlikely to happen.

An industry insider shared, “There have been widespread rumors about Jeon Soyeon teaming up with Zico, but there hasn't been any actual progress on that front."

They added, "They might have discussed it because they are friends, but there have been no concrete discussions about a contract.”

KOZ also addressed the rumors, stating, “Jeon Soyeon and KOZ are unrelated.”

With just over two months left until her contract ends, it remains uncertain where Jeon Soyeon will go. As it stands, the chances of her joining KOZ seem very low.

Due to rules against pre-contract talks until three months before a contract expires, it appears that neither Jeon Soyeon nor KOZ are prioritizing a partnership at this time.
